Eleanor Fay :: 3 months

Miss Eleanor Fay,

Three whole months you’ve been here. (Well--I've been working on this post for a whhhhile...so you'll be close to 4 months by the time this is posted! Its been super busy!) You’re a smiley, giggly, cuddly girl and we’re so in love with you! It has been a busy month for us—your dad has been emceeing Big Break (a Cru conference for college students on their spring break in Florida) so we’ve been away from home for a whole month and you’ve done so great! I’m thankful you and your sister are such adaptable little ladies.

You’ve been waking up once in the middle of the night, but you’ve started to go to bed earlier (around 7:30-8pm) so it makes sense. You love to sing and will make loud squealing noises when we talk to you! You’ve started rolling over this month too—right around 2.5 months! I think you’re a really strong little girl.

You absolutely love people—you just like being around them. So much so that it’s hard for me to get ready in the morning because you don't like not seeing anyone for that long. I’ve started putting books with bright colored pictures in front of you and that has helped a ton! You’re rolling around though so I have to adjust them often. ;)

Really kiddo, there’s not much to report. You’re a pretty easy baby and I’m even more laid back with you than I was with Hazel (& I felt like I was pretty laid back with her!) so that makes things nice. :) I still have melt downs and you still cry, but all in all I’d say we’re doing just fine. I love your smiles and your coos. I’m soaking in your cuddles because I know that soon enough you’ll be all over the place like your sister. Although I have a feeling you’re going to be cuddly even as you get older :) I could be totally wrong—but I hope not!

Eating
Still eating like a champ! Recently you’ve been eating more frequently—every 2 hours or so—maybe a growth spurt? Typically you go about 3 hours though.

Sleeping
You're a great sleeper! I’m nervous to even talk about how great of a sleeper you are because I don’t want to jinx anything! Ha! You’re going to sleep around 7:30-8pm and you were sleeping through the night a few nights (12 hours!), recently you’ve started waking up once in the night. Sometimes to eat, sometimes I think you just needed a cuddle or two. The past few nights you’ve gone back to sleeping 12 hour stretches—keep it up, kiddo! ;)

Temperament/Personality

Oh my goodness you’re so sweet. You have a huge smile and you love to talk. You love when we lay you down, lay over you, and “chat.” You’ll make noises the whole time—it really is super cute! Your big sister is head over heels for you so she plays with you often. I have a (hopeful) feeling y'all will be great friends. You're a really sweet little girl and I can't wait to see more and more of your personality come out as you grow, little one!

Physical
-baby blue eyes
-hardly any hair still :)
-wearing 3-6 month clothes! (some 6 month onesies! they're a little big--but you're so long that we need them for the length!)
-size 1 diapers
-you're super strong and really wanting to sit up...soon enough little one :)

Memorable
-the beach! We kept you in a little tent and honestly over the month only went to the beach a handful of times...Hazel haaaated the sand and you, well, you just turned 3 months so you didn't really care either way. (Honestly I'm not much of a beach person so I was totally fine not going!)
-You rolled over!
-Slept through the night (being that you're almost 4 months now I know this doesn't last forever unfortunately...)
-First trip to the zoo! We went twice...and both times you slept through the whole thing :)

You are a joy, Nor Nor.

I love you so much, sweet pea :)

Love,

Momma

As usual...pictures galore below!
